A last page button on thread-view

SE, put in a button on the thread-view so you can jump right to the last page of a topic, or specific pages of a topic without having to first open the topic. Generally new posts are always at the end, so there should be a way to go right to them.

I thought they had this? There is a button that says last.

To be taken to the last unread post. Not what you want, but something.

I'm pretty sure this is already implemented

Can't view how many pages a thread has though.

It says "1 of 6" for example. Then to the right is where you can pick next page or last page.

Yes.. I know I can see the amount of pages when I am in the thread lol

Yeah, I think Draylo is talking about seeing how many pages a thread has when viewing the thread list.

Like in many forums

What is being asked here is set by default in vB (what SE is using here), but they disabled it. Most likely to ensure the performance of the forum software stays reasonable during high traffic.
