I'm using the Altana Viewer and stuff but every time I take a screen shot and place it in something like GIMP or Photoshop it comes out completely black... What's up with that?

You have to jump through a few hoops if you want to copy models from Altana Viewer correctly.

Whats a sig?

I think my sig needs moar bacons.

Sig with a bunch of gear I don't have yet lolz.

huh??? I just go File > Save image.

Tips for Sig builders (if you just want the character model):
-Be sure to have Floor set to None under the field tab.

-Be sure to set your background color to a color that is really bright and that is not a color that appears on your toon.
Lime green typically works best for this much like they use green screen for movies.

-Open photoshop and go Select > Color range > use the eyedropper to select the bright color > Delete selected area.

- Using the magic wand causes you to have to find all the small pieces of background that shows and also creates an ugly halo around the image that is left once you delete the background. The edges are also really rough.

My sigs always get deleted.

Here is mine. Not very fancy, but I thought since we aren't allowed custom avatars yet I would stick the two avatars of my characters I usually use down there. :p

I LOVE your picture you drew Wish, and it is even better as a signature haha :D. If you do requests I'd give up my first born child if you could draw one for my character!! If not I understand lol. Your tag is really cool as well ^^/.

I'm just lookin for something almost exactly like your sig :D. I'm a huge fan of tagging and street art so what you have is perfect for my taste. Only thing I would ask is that it is my hume F character. Up to you what you want to do. My jobs are Whm or Nin. Thanks in advance and no rush at all on the picture. My sig in particular was made by "Phere" on the official forums. It's based on a different sig design, both of which are in the OP of this thread I believe.

Edit: I lied. They were in the OP of some other sig thread someone made earlier today.

There was a guy on this forum that had a really cool sig of a Hume M, Mnk in Pln. gear sitting at a bar. I think his name was Kyle or something, can't remember off the top of my head. It was a REALLY good sig though.

I tried looking back through General Discussion but I couldn't find the thread where Tsukino_Kaji posted the "non-filled-in" image of both the original sig and the special extended version I'm using. I'm not sure if it was nuked or moved or whatnot at this point, so I couldn't link you to it :(.

As seen in my earlier posts in this thread, I do give my sig creator 100% of the credit for my signature. Pheare, or doublesbrian on BG. He based the sig off of a much smaller, albeit similar sig, but a vast majority of the alterations are his own, personal work. He also went and filled in all of my character information by hand, so I do believe he's reserved credit for this rendition of the work.

This is the Original Sig that I see others are taking credit for just because they have added more to it I have had this Sig for many years now and don't mind ppl taking it but don't claim as your own just because you add to it I have put a lot of work into this over years. Original concept was in Japanese I translated to english and then have changed all images and added new content to it as years go by. Please go ahead take make your own but if posting in Sig Thread or anywhere you they ask for creator include me.
