Congestion: Behemoth's Dominion

Please for the love of god, add more ??? pop spots for behemoth & king behemoth!

Thanks to the log-in campaign the pop is camped 24/7 and will be until ~ a month after the campaign.

You added two extra ??? spots in abyssea zones due to excess congestion and anticipated congestion for voidwatch by making 3x each pop to start with.

that is all.

but then King behemoth would not be king behemoth....

It's pretty bad. I'm not even buying shanks now because I don't feel like waiting an hour just to pop it.

I may just start trying to outclaim others for the ???.
I have tried with mild success of getting multiple thieves to band together when someone pops to help get TH12 quick so we can kill faster. Most of the time though people will say that their pop could get stolen. I understand how that could happen and it's sad that people probably still do it.

You don't even need to gain hate. just deal the last action b4 you drop & it's your mob. ><
I know that from a fafnir back in the day. i got killed and they told me to drop. so I used up the rest of my mp and dropped as soon as my spell went off... 3 seconds later in LS chat: WTF happened?! It went purple.

It's just one more reason that multiple ???'s should be added. congestion + people afraid of teaming up or their pop might get stolen.

Yeah there are litterally 35 people there right now. I never see less than 20. It's basically not allowing me to cash in my log in points since I have to use pops first. But doubt SE will even look at this

I would really appreciate it if they made more ???'s for behemoth pops, 'coz I will not be able to use up all my login points on beastly shanks at this rate. (because the shanks are rare status)
Or just take rare status off the beastly shanks, or even let us mail them to ourselves, that would be nice.

Maybe they could make more ???'s for normal behemoth, and one separate ??? for king, so the zone isn't filled with out-of-party aoe damage.

Yeah plus then you have jerks that jump the line. Managed to pop 2 after waiting over 2 hours just to have some guy jump in line and pop 5 in a row beating my trade macro everytime. Of course GM call got me auto messages back

Calling a GM is futile in this case. Jumping a line is not an offense, especially if he never agreed to obey the line in the first place. You may shun him though. Show that guy who's the filthy claimjumper by totally ignoring his antics!

Or just do away with the stupid concept of out-of-ally damage. If I can't engage the mob or otherwise get on the hate list, it shouldn't be able to do damage to me.

It's easy to get on a hate list for a mob... just cure a player on the hate list;

I can see their point though, for keeping it they way it is, they don't want a bunch of people to try it, and then have outside members cure bombing them. (And before you say well then keep me from getting damage until I'm on the hate list, what's to stop a WHM for sitting there, ignoring all the hate until it's almost dead and then cure bombing at the last 10%).

Anyone worried about outside tomfoolery can /blockaid. If SE wants to prevent it they can give the fight Confrontation status. The tools are there they just aren't being used.

Also while getting on the list is easy actually taking hate away is hard. You can't cure bombing at the to accomplish this. By the time you kill behemoth chances are meleeing you are capped. To cap CE from curing you'd litterally need to cure for 42.5k... or if you wen the 5/6 route over 37 Cure Vs or 25 Cure VI... of course this is before -enmity like say from the job trait tranquil heart. Not to mention you'd have to keep curing decent amounts to maintain VE.

Hell even back when cures still pulled decent hate it wasn't used to steal mobs directly because that was too hard but to force flails that hopefully wiped the allaince allowing you to grab it

My wife came home at 1730, and immediately traveled to meet me at the back of the line in Behemoth's Dominion with her main and alternate account character. It's now 1830 and we have 10 people ahead of us; we are still waiting to use our first 3 pops.. On our combined accounts, we have enough points for approximately 100 pop items.

There is no way we can possibly get through them all. This is completely absurd! We activated additional characters to pay you for points, went through the entire effort of logging in daily with 3 accounts worth of characters, and now we're going to run out of time before we can spend the points because there is no way to hold more than 1 item at a time.

If all of our effort earning these points ends up wasted because of your lack of foresight, you can bet I will deactivate these characters and refuse to reactivate them for the next campaign. I won't pay you to waste my time.

The simple and most cost-effective solution for you as a company is to remove the expiration date on points so that congestion eases from the endless numbers of people trying desperately to get a defending ring before time runs out.

This problem will go away by itself when people aren't able to get a bunch of free shanks from the login campaign.

The problem isn't the congestion. The problem is I have about 90000 points across my characters that I'm going to lose when the campaign ends, because I can't spend them because of the congestion. So what was the purpose of activating those characters and logging in daily for the points?

Was I supposed to literally do nothing but try to claim the ??? in Behemoth's Dominion for the last few weeks, every day, all day, all night? Because the only way I could have spent them is that, and that assumes others didn't do the same. It's stupid of them to reward us for giving them money (making and activating mules for the login campaign), then take the rewards away by setting an arbitrary timer on when they can be used. The reason it's stupid is because I won't pay them during their next such activity, and they want my money. I'm surely not the only one here.

Also, no, I haven't waited until the last day. I have been doing as many as I could throughout the event. I have 3 accounts with more than 10 characters each with 3 points worth, and I also have to still do Mog Gardens daily, grind bayld to do WK's before they end up being impossible like WoE, participate in LS events, Delve for plasm, etc..etc..etc. FFS, whenever I came here, it was just like this. EVERY DAY. FOR WEEKS. So don't act like I'm the problem here.

Its not like they said "Hey boys and girls go activate as many characters as you possibly can, this month you get free behemoth pops for every character, so activate them all and give us money! >:D" They had a campaign, you could have done it with just one character, like me, and been fine, but you threw money at them for more, and now complain because your losing some pops. Yes, I think in all of this you are part of the problem. Should they solve congestion when its one of the most popular reasons they give out for not doing things? Hell yes, but its not only their fault...

So what you are saying is that for the login campaign, I should have activated less characters. And what I'm saying is that if they don't deal with this, then for the next one I will take your advice. What SE should be saying is, "We better fix this because it's going to cost us money." And that is the conversation (good job restating my point though). Also, it's 1915 and we're still waiting to do our first 3 pops for the night. That's 2hrs of waiting to do 3 pops, followed by a warp back and various logging to mules/trading, followed by another 2hrs of waiting to do 3 pops again. And then my glowing reports to people considering returning about how much fun the game is now that so much of the old BS "wait to play" stuff has been fixed... oh wait.

Honestly, they should have put those king pops up for 4k points or not at all.

If your stupid enough to activate a bunch of characters for something like this just so you can abuse the characters for extra points then go ahead. I will do with the points I get on my main character. I see no need nor purpose to activate a bunch of extra wastes of space just so I can get a few more points and get a few more pops so I can come here to complain in a month about how I didn't get to pop them all or I had to stand in like 2 weeks in a row to pop them all.

You're making my point while simultaneously missing the point.

Yeah it's like saying hey it's your own fault for playing the game that you have to deal with a shitty situation

I don't really want any drops off King Behemoth, so I thought of taking a couple shots in hopes of getting a Savory Shank in order to sell. Except it's been so congested that I didn't bother. Now I'm just selling Shanks for dirt cheap to clear them out of my inventory in preparation for the next set I buy.
