Same account sending

I was just wondering why is it that we can't send the black belt items to other characters of the same account? I guess the page i bookmarked to tell me what i can and cannot send is out of date but i fail to understand why i can't send it from my one character to another.

Meanwhile i can send abjunctions, 24hr NM drops and other stuff that wouldn't make sense.

*Edit* Just checked and i can even send gear you get with plasm through the delivery to my other characters, and those require a KI to get.

Don't worry, it makes even less sense when you realize you can send the actual black belt, just not the egg/beard/tongue. Proceed to hit your head against a wall now.

The list of Undeliverable Same-Account Ex Items was last updated (at the time of writing) in July 9, 2013, and it does indeed list the egg, beard, and tongue.

Were you perchance looking at some other list?

As for the reasoning... I guess it's just that special of a quest. ^^;

Won't use a wall, I'll just use a pile of TNT while wearing a flint hat over this logic.

Considering they're Mog Bonanza prizes, that sucks.

It's also extremely stupid that you can't send Cat's Eye between characters. I would be furious if I won a rank 2 prize on my mule.

And the fact that you can't send Bonanza Kupon O (Orchestrion) between characters is just pointless. Why get anal if I want my character with the orchestrion to have the key item instead of the character with no orchestrion?

Here are some fun EX items you CAN send between characters:

• Cupboard (nice if you've built San d'Oria fame on multiple characters)
• Mannequins (effortless maxing of storage for mules)
• The beastman summoning hats for some reason
• Empyrean Armor seals, of course

EX items that need to be sendable:

• Black Belt items
• Cat's Eye
• Bonanza Kupon O
• Subjob Quest Items
• The equipment from the "Trial By..." avatar quests

Non-EX items that need to be sendable:

• Ark Angel Statues

Winning the rank 1 prize WAS an awesome feeling, until i realized mythics were on the undeliverable list..... if i won rank 1 on the same account as my main, why can't i send my prize to my main?

This R/X feature was designed by Fred Fuchs.

There's other items too in my opinion does not make sense to hold us back on sending them through mail.

A friend of mine has been religiously farming, collecting Alexandrite. I mean 30,000 is ridiculously a lot to save. So she has been asking friends to buy them if we see anyone selling.

So I bought a good amount thinking I could just send it to her through mail delivery. Find out you can't even send them. Had to wait til she logged back on therefore I had full inventory the entire day waiting.

Sigh.... That's the story of my life.

Fixed that for you.

I was just coming on to this site to ask the same question re the egg, beard etc... It doesn't make sense you can send the brown belt R/E items to a mule. I just sent them back to myself incase it was an error.

It really is crazy not to be able to send stuff to a mule, it is one account, it isn't like I can play all three characters at one time and form a self-party.

thats why i don't understand the limitations, not just that, but with all the inventory issue's this game has why not allow all rare/ex items? Is it going to be in the future they're gonna change their minds again and some stuff will be lost to my mule and i'll have to get it again?

A lot of stuff that involves quests are undeliverable, that's the only reasoning I can come up with, since you can dbox the completed item.

It would make much more sense if you couldn't DB the belt -since- it's the finished product of a quest.

i think SE should allow us to turn a character on our account to a mule status, make it so it can't be turned back to a regular character and that it will max out their inventory and allow ALL items to be sent to and from them. Just make it that once this status is active that character will not be able to lvl jobs.
