projected seekers live time?

i hate to point out the obvious, but SOA is still not available for play. We were promised AND it was advertised, as being available for play on the 27th.

what is the projected live time for the 27th?

Still not sure but should be up by 8pm if not tomorrow

Not available to play? It might be that it is just still packed?

ya i'm est but not even sure where it will be releasd to cause we have not been updated yet and not even that theres no info on any of the areas or quest missions , ect . plus not to mention where to even start the quest.

The fun will be in finding it out. :3 Maybe LSes will have a use again, if not but for a short time.

Calm down it WILL be available for play today...Treasures didn't go live until 8 pm pacific time and I think the same for Goddess. Just be patient and btw people on alla and bluegartr have already .dat mined and figured out how to start the quest to get to Adoulin and unlock the new jobs.

Don't know why all the secrecy about the start time ... it's sort of pointless to hide it and it's just adding to the animosity that's been building since this morning ...

It's days like this, as well as a litany of other things I have endured since the PS2 release, that reinforce why I will never pick up another S/E MMORPG.

The fact that there has been absolutely zero comment from SE regarding the timing of activating the content is upsetting. People have been waiting around all day for it and all they've done is say "yes, our update system still sucks and is congested" and telling a million different people they cant redeem their chocobo shirts yet :/

Except not. Do you really think they didn't cover things like release time in the EULA? Like, do you honestly think you're not going to get laughed out of any courtroom as soon as you proposed this? Just curious.

I am sure once the content goes live SE will tell us.

I'm just speculating but... in past expansions, there was a feeling of discontent when an expansion was released and most of the players couldn't access the servers due to heavy traffic. This lead to a small group of players getting to the expansion areas 1st (exploring them and amassing items/info before anyone could). They then used it to their advantage by getting to the "good areas" and camping them well. This left a sour taste in many player's mouths (if I remember correctly).

I am betting SE is waiting to release the content only when the server traffic stabilizes again. This way, everyone is patched and ready to go. Everyone would have an equal opportunity to explore the new areas at the same time.

Edit: Servers are fine now. Download time (for the PC at least) is normal. Expansion content is live.
