I'm surprised I didn't notice this before, but the accuracy of feral howl has taken a serious hit. I should have noticed when several players described how worthless it is as an additional proc in dynamis.
I think it was also nerfed when SE adjusted the Merits for it. I had 5/5 merits in to keep the recast low before the recast was changed to a flat 5 min. Exactly when It changed, I switched to 1/5 merits in it to opt for maximum Killer Instinct (I LOVE THIS ABILITY).
However, I noticed on recent dynamis runs that the accuracy has fallen through the toilet. I don't mean proc'ing the weakness. I mean getting Feral Howl to land AT ALL. (Its not the funny bug where it will NEVER land if the mob is stunned, I know how to avoid that).
In my last dynamis run, I don't recall if it landed at all. This was vs Easy Prey mobs! (I macro in Monster jackcoat +2 for it also).
I was able to have it land somewhere between 2/3 and 3/4 of the time before the change.
I"ll try parsing it out next time I do a run on bst. (I've been doing alot of xp trials on other jobs lately). but the accuracy of 1 merit is so abyssmal that it doesn't seem worth adding merits to at all. It makes me wonder if it is bugged.

Maybe it's a bug with the relic coat +2? (since you say you macro it every time) I haven't noticed a problem with the accuracy at all and I use it as a proc every time it's up (I don't have relic coat upgraded yet).

Might want to ensure your target's stun wore off. I've had no issues with it, it seems to work 100% on most fodder mobs (1 Merit/Augmented Monster Jackcoat +2 here).

Sorry Xilk, I know you mentioned that. I just find it odd (I hope it's not glitched).
I recall spending many nights in Dynamis-Xarcabard after the revisions collecting exp off the DC demons, and Feral Howl never missed (unless my friend inflicted a stun).
I also use it daily in abyssea, and regardless of the enemies being powered-up, it hasn't missed there, either. Unless I'm getting lucky. It even works pretty well on campaign NMs, though doesn't seem to land on some regular NMs.

Ran Dynamis-Beaucedine today. Feral Howl never missed. 100% Accuracy, NMs included. -
