OMG this would be totally awesome FTW!~!!!!!!!!
ps2 = own server = hmmm................
The other solution is sending out a code that auto shuts them all of and destroys every ps2 on FFXI foreveah MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!/chokes gags
Require an update for FFXI that is over 40gig so the ps2 can't use it. Shouldn't take *that* long to download huge file and then we'd be free of ps2 and maybe 360 limitations. Lower the limit to 1
we can only wish ; ; ;
Ryland - seriously size that sig pic down yo. it eats up a ton of page space!
hmm is there enough ps2 users to have one server?
But really a ps2 server would be nice . . .. . . Like if you log into ps2 bam your account perma ps2 server till you realize what wrong you have done to ffxi D:!
I had that same idea in my head but the fact that Japan has many PS2 players also should encourage SE to support PS3 backwards computability since you can download FFXI anyway! There's many reasons why some servers should be different to accumulate players to their preference.
For instance: A server for those players who want or like the old style Vana diel and everything is still hard.
I have my FFXI installed on my PS3 already, the same one I bought in 2006. Many reason SE doesn't do the things that they should've but don't is beyond me.
Bah, why would we want you lv. 1 mule to be taking unnecessary space in Aby. You're not going to power level you character with Summon burn party, are you?Quote:
It makes my posts easier to see by being so huge. Also the pic makes people look at my posts more, and all of my posts say LOWER THE ENTRANCE LEVEL FOR ABYSSEA TO 1!!!!!!!!1ONE
I'll tell yah one thing friend, SE has a reason why the prerequisites are so high and there should be more reason why to raise it.
I say, keep it at level 75. The level break quest is the only excuse why it's at that level, so you can go it, get your rare/ex items and merits.
Lowering the entrance level to 1 is the only chatter that will be allowed in this thread.
This is a troll thread anyways, so it can go off topic as much as you guys want I suppose.
Well, if Phantasy Star Universe PS2 PC had shared a server and the Xbox360 had a server of their own then why not? only problems would occur would be the lack of content on their servers, people would complain that they would be behind in updates and content than the 360/PC servers (because they don't have the space for it)
Ultimately causing the servers to shut down.... like the PC/PS2 Servers did in PSU although their reasons was because the PC version was allowing people to dupe stuff and another reason why I cannot remember...
I'd see them dropping support for the ps2 before thinking about making a ps2 only server.
You can play ffxi on a P4 with no graphics card and you can buy the entire vanadiel collection for 5 dollars. Why people subject themselves to the PS2 is a mystery. Having played my first 2 years of the game on PS2 and then another year on Xbox I can very confidently say that anyone still playing on a console is a fool. And if you dont own a computer but are willing to pay monthly fees for FFXI and internet your priorities are effed.
Ryland i order you to put your sig picture back up!
i would love to be on a PS2/3 only server.
its playing the PS2 game so it will be lumped
even though its played on ps3 its still not limited to the ps2 hardrive so yeah . . . . . . PS2 is limited because space compacity . . . ps3 has the space . . . . so lets not bundle them :P
Making the PS2 users move to a PS2 only server then giving everyone else new content sounds like discrimination.
