Augmented Enhancing Magic Earring?

Ok so I have run out of ideas as to how I'm going to find this thing, so I thought I would ask here... A while back one night before going to sleep I went to do some Dynamis Qufim. :) Right after I came out, there was a Taru BLU about to go in, as I check him, I noticed an earring with an augment of +4 Enhancing magic, :eek: this amazed me because I had no idea one existed... Now I foolishly thought I might be able to find it again with some work so I basically ignored both the name of the item & its owner, :p well its been about a month now, and I have had no such luck. :( This earring has eluded me completely, I thought it might be abyssea from chests or from quests, but have found no earring with Enhancing magic on it from augments. I also checked Synergy, but again, no luck. :confused:

If anyone knows of any earrings (besides the much to over-priced Augmenting Earring :mad:) with enhancing magic augmented on it, than please help me out, I am trying to build the best Enhancing magic build I can but the idea that this earring exists, and I can not remember its name or its owners, will erk me till the day I find it once again! ><;

500 is currently the hard cap for enhancing spells I believe(at least it is for Phalanx/Stoneskin/En-spells/Embrava) and you can easily hit like 511 without this earrings.

Mainly trying to do it for Temper & Gain spells, if they cap then at least I have gear for later when/if cap is raised, if not~ then oh well I just look like a really pimped out RDM with like 530 Enhancing magic, either way I'm happy. But as a melee RDM every bit of DA & DEX power helps :)

Note:I'm not sure how you got 511, 404+16+18+15+6+15+15+7+3+5=504, even with the lightsday bonus on colossus's you only get 507.

Yep, going after that atm as well! Gods just hate me, 10 kills, no Abj, and 7 kills without a Shield from Genbu /sigh...

Oh duh I forgot that I have +7 from NQ Z crown augment. You can get +8 from HQ z crown

Well I wouldn't say so much that you lied, you were just incorrect in your original posts info.
I agree there may be one there we don't know of, it does seem to have many augments with skill or Enspell damage which does give the idea that enhancing magic may lay somewhere in it, just not listed or found. I will try to do this quest a few times and see if I can get one with Enhancing magic, ty for the potential weapon. ^_^

Woah, back from the dead i am, and good to see someone else working on the enhancing gear for rdm, glad more and more rdm grasp the worth of the gear. I myself lucked out recently with this beauty

I like my overlay big. Those tiny boxes arent hard to read but i do like the feeling that im in a menu, not fighting off popups during a game!

Took me atleast 30 augments but got it so if you plan to aug one of these monsters, consider farming and tattering or buying a lotta scraps, lucky me, on sylph i spotted someone with 45 scraps at 3k a pop.

Yeah the scraps seem fairly cheap so I don't mind needing to spend a little on it, part of the build I listed is an earring from ASA which the chances of me getting the earring and correct augment, I honestly plan to take probably 30~70 runs, if anything thats the one I worry about. @_@;

Ah, well dunno if it helps but if your skill/merits are capped, with my build im 4 skill over 500.

Zenith crown +1 (8 Skill)
Duelist Tabard +2 (15 skill)
Duelist Gloves +2 (18 skill)
Warlock's Tights (15 skill)
Estoqueur's Hoesaux +2 (15 skill)
Colossus Torque (7 Skill)(Can use enhancing instead)
Estoqueur's cape (6 skill?)
that puts me at 504 Skill so you can drop 4 skill somewhere. So you can substitute the crown for a olympus sash, or a cascade sash and aug-earing (or grip if you dont mind resetting tp on rebuffing). But if you can swing atleast 4 skill on the head and get the rest, you will be able to hit 500 skill

I just figure unless we know Temper is capped (which I don't know if we have found that out yet, don't know about gains either) any skill you can get helps in melee!

500 is the cap I'm almost positive. 500 caps barspells/phalanx/embrava/en-spells/gain-spells/boost-spells, it would make sense that it would cap temper.
