There was a point to his reply as well, one that wouldn't have been conveyed if he just filled it out normally. The point is that their blanket response with that form is completely useless. Most of what they're requiring is absolutely irrelevant to problems with the content. They need to get rid of it completely and just interpret the bug reports individually, as they have to do anyway with the step-by-step info provided by us. This form should have never made it to the forums in the first place, its absolutely only use is in the form of client bug reports and they should make a completely seperate page for that. It's not related to test server content in any way. SE is making reporting bugs tedious and inconvenient and in some cases even insulting to our intelligence. It's like punishing the people that volunteer to test their products (at their request).

While we appreciate your input regarding the Bug Reporting procedure, please keep any conversation in this thread as it pertains to the topic at hand, and not about the process itself.

Seems to me Byrth did fill out your template, even though he shouldn't have been required to. Just because his answers were not as you desired doesn't mean he didn't follow protocol. Certainly the moderators could have put any alternate value in for the answers deemed unsatisfactory and the bug could be investigated properly.

Why make the player population do the work others should be doing. It's not our jobs. We are paying you. Step up to the plate and supply some customer service.

Here is the other thread I reported this in, though there is no evidence anyone actually reads NA bug reports in that forum. There are four pages of threads without a single rep reply or acknowledgement. The only rep-related post is copy-pasta of a JP response, and it didn't fit into any created thread so they made a new one for it. I am not entirely sure why they would create and release the test server only to ignore all reported bugs, but it is what it is.

Assuming that nothing has been fixed since they were released on the test server, it might interest you to know Shijin Spiral and Shattersoul both have fixed additional effect durations (instead of varying with TP) as well. I don't feel like spending 20 merits to open them up though (and the test server is still broken), so you will have to try it on your own.

Incoming 100% = 30secs, 200% = 60secs, 300% = 90secs.

Guys don't get mad at GMs asking for additional (irrelevant) information. They're probably using some variety of Bug Tracker database/clients and when GM is manually inputting your bug, it might be tossing in "Field required" errors, and since it is your report, not theirs, they can't really make up your ISPs name on their own.
QA/QC is very procuderised/standarised thing to run, otherwise you'd get lost in all of that partial information.
Filling in "Steps to reproduce" from log in screen onwards for every bug etc gets old fast, but helps keep things organised. Been there, done that. It's annoying but procedures are procedures :(
In case of these bug reports there is a form to be filled in, in case of critical bugs they probably call a dev or two in the middle of the night and don't bother with any forms. But we're talking THF/DNC here, so the issue can wait a month or four :P

On a serious note, you won't notice any difference whether the effect is on or not, for 95% of content.

I never stated it was.

But for times when the effect does matter, even if it is for that "5% of content," I'd rather the duration just stay at 90secs and not be needlessly nerfed. :/

Upon comparison to this or this, I doubt they will nerf it from 90 seconds. Someone probably just forgot to upload the duration structure for these WSs and left them set at the test server default.
