[dev1077] What's the point in Tonko: Ni?

Tonko Ichi and Ni both have the same cast time after the revision to Tonko Ichi. So why will anyone now bother to buy or use Tonko: Ni?

I think that Monomi: Ni should have been introduced for say level 49 NIN, instead of messing with the Ichi recasts.

Cause Tonki: Ni lasts significantly longer >_>?

If you need sneak too, then you gain nothing from the longer duration because you need to remove the invis manually to recast sneak.

I assumed that there would be a longer duration, but the fact of monomi still being ichi meant it was a moot point unless you only need invis, which is rare.

Edit: not to mention that with the update to the duration of enhancing magic sneak/invis being vastly increased, Monomi: Ni makes perfect sense.

There have been rare times where I needed to use tonki ichi seconds after using ni. I'll take this change to ensure in the future my mistakes are less likely to be taken advantage of by monsters. Why they couldn't have just added the bloody Ni versions, is beyond my ability to comprehend at this point.

THEY COULD HAVE MF'ING GIVEN US THIS FOR JUB ICHI SINCE IT SEEMS IT WOULD DESTROY THE BALANCE IN THE FORCE TO GIVE US NI SPELLS.

Tonko: Ichi is 3 minutes, Tonko: Ni is 5 minutes.
Tonko: Ichi is 20k on AH, Tonko: Ni is 2k on AH.

Both are still junk compared to a RDM's superior Invisible.

I can think of far more where I've only needed sneak, and many more where I've needed both.

Since the case for my rant is that they should have given us Monomi: Ni instead of shortening the cast times on :ichi, I feel it's a valid point. Both would be great, but this just seems like a cop out for giving us Monomi: Ni.

SE is just throwing out adjustments that most are just stupid things and a waste of resources imo. It seems that either they have way too many (additional) development resources that are sitting around and have nothing that they can do (or been authorized to do) or there's nothing else to do for them so that's all they got left to do. Either way, it's dumber then dumb imo. A good way to waste resources and drive the playerbase insane with these 'adjustments'.

Yes, but would require more work. They'll have to add in the spell. Create the scroll, either put that on some NPC for sell or quest. Etc. etc.

Whereas flipping the number for the cast time probably takes all of 1 min to do?
