A request for Walk of Echos.

I'd asked before but I decided to make a post in the hopes that maybe it might get more attention.

I've been spamming WoE flux 7 for the past week and a half trying to collect 30 Coins of Glory. In my time in there I've accumulated 41 Coins of Birth, 104 Coins of Advancement, 73 Coins of Decay, 92 Coins of Ruin and 29/30 Coins of Glory.

I'm imploring some hope that with the upcoming update to Walk of Echos can you please, please consider implementing a currency exchange NPC. Even if it's set at a 2 for 1 exchange rate it would considerably at least make the attempt and headache of getting coins not so much a pain.

Seconded, and while you're at it, give us an emp armour seal exchange NPC too. Make it 10 for 1 for all I care, but I toss so many that I could save if even a few mins killing some NM to get ones I want.

I second this, perhaps 3:1 ratio, similar to the seals/crest exchange ratio rate.

Maybe they should do this for devious die and the new one aswell because hardly anyone do 8-11 on our server anymore so how are we meant to get our WoE weapons done when again WoE is only done in JP prime time, WoE need a vastly make-over, not with just drops but the encouragement to do the others and not just the new ones....

All upgrade drops can be obtained from higher walks, not just 8-11, I've had several #12/#13 runs with 2 upgrade items in the chest. Trick is to find people doing it. Usually I just do a /sea "Walk of Echoes" during JP primetime or weekends and go there when there's a good amount of people.

We are on the same Server. So i can understand the situation. However what specificly do you have in mind?

Changeing Coins <> Dice <> Residue ?

Would result in players only useing Conflux #7 and exchangeing everything.

Changeing Coins <> Coins, Dice <> Residue ?

Seems a viable Option however, there is only so many Walks so Players can choose the Walk to get the Desired Drops.

I am seeing 2. solutions.

1. Therefore Walk of Echos must be made more friendly for smaller Groups, this can be done by simply Adding a Lobby after entering the Conflux.
# The Difficult and Number of monsters will be Adjusted once starting the run.
# Players wil no longer be able to join a started run.
# 6-36 Players will get varing difficult with such a System and are abel to Clear the run even with 6.

2. Therefore a Lvl 99 WoE Weapon will have to Outdmg a Lvl 90 Full Empyrean.
Many ppl would considder the Weapons worth their Time. This however is a timelimited solution.

I know they can be gained in any flux, but Camate did state that 8-11 will have increased drops in 8-11 for devious die in the next update which is really too late in my opinion so they really need to help the players who wish to farm for Devious Die cos on my server some people are getting way to greedy and asking for 200k-500k a Devious Die cos they know it's pretty much impossible to get since the new item is more likely to drop in 12-15 than the Die which i've only gotten once in about 15 runs and gotten 8 of the new item.... so again they need to fix this issue to entice players into WoE cos at this rate, you can actually say that WoE is a failed content that they implemented unless they make some changes that actually benefit the players who wish to do the other fluxes because you have 7 which is done for coins and 12-15, 1-6 and 8-11 is entirely ignored now which really sucks cos I wanted to farm Alundra Gloves but there's no chance of that now since no-one barely touch that flux anymore

The only solution i can find with this, is infact that they need to really make the fights friendly so it can be low manned, but because the flux is always open till the boss of that flux is <50% so the developers cannot adjust the difficult of that flux by % of people = % of mob resistance / easier because the data would always change.

As for the exchange, this is something that would have to be very careful as like you pointed out, it could result in people spamming 7 for the coins and just doing the exchange that way, I just want WoE adjusted so that it's easier to gain Devious Die in a way that all flux is accessible without needing 18+ people

If theres 2 Groups Ok Team up.

However the Party hate would have to be removed.

The only other solution I can think of is doing what they are doing to Legion, Collect WoE points if we can't get any of the above solution since that would be an ideal exchange, I.E 1000 WoE point = 1 Devious Die etc

Or Just change the trail. For Example.... do 100 runs of WoE with the Weapon Equiped. That would force ppl to not go SMN and SE could fix the event up for Meele! Though i fear there wouldn't be a whole lot of Mages then lol...

I agree, after spending a week in Walk of Echos only gaining coins that I do not need it does get frustrating. In some ways its even harder to get the NQ Empys then it is to get the Empys themselves. An exchange NPC would really be useful for uneeded coins even if its 3 for 1.

It is like SE tried to change Walk of Echos spoil system to imitate Voidwatch, which in some ways may be good, but also adds the ability to get nothing multiple times (From Conflux 1-7 that is) once every vanadiel day. For the lesser confluxes at least allow coin drop rate to stand out more than just logs...

I've made close to a mil in chest drops from Ingot, Dragon Hearts and other crap simply by AHing everything I get. The money is nice but I'd rather get the coins and be focused on something else other then afking for an hour after each run.

There is News on the German boards concerning lowerd AoE Dmg (in WoE) if your not the Player with hate.

It sais:
The Dev Team wants to see if the changes to Area of Effect Dmg for Players not directly targetet in Void Watch will have the desired effect If so it will be possible to implement the the changes into WoE and Legion.

My opinion is that i would be pleased with more Meeles and less Summoners XD
