Anyone make sigs anymore?

I need one with my 90 monk added on :) I have this one larger is needed.

Get PAINT.NET, free photoshop-like program, and have fun.
Google AltanaViewer to get pictures of ingame models to use for sig making (just hit print screen key and paste into image program). It's pretty easy once you dare to give it a try. :)

i only make my sigs/Borders and all my web GFX in Photoshop Cs4 and Zbrush 4.0

another GREAT program is adobe fireworks Cs4 that is the one i started with

and yeah I do make them myself also, but sadly mine aren't as great as others *points at Sin's sig* lol

I like yours it has great depth Great work with the light :)

kinda wish we had PM system, I am not very good with that stuff but I would like a sig that basically shows my respect to my ls in helping me get something, if someone is willing to try make me one ill explain it better.

I also make borders like this one for Friends XD

Thank you ^.^ I'm still working at it. What always bug me is the text not looking right over all. I've done a lot of different types and only a few have come out really well.

This one was another recent one I did:

I think Sinthetic has a very cool looking sig. After attending college though i took a class that made me aware of how letter forms and such relate to a peice. If I could offer some advice. Make your name a bit bigger. or reduce some of the graphics around it. It basically gets lost in all the pretty stuff around it. Not trying to be an @$$. This must have taken a fair amount of time to create and props for that. But it seems to have more to do with Ninja than it does about who you are.

it has helped Me view My art Beyond what looks good to me also XD
But yeah i made this Border for Ninja only lol Ninja Was My first job i lvled War to 37 then i just did Ninja lol
and yes back in those Days it cost me an arm and a leg for tools LOL

Hmmmm I was never a big fan of Text inside the Actual Sig XD
But i love the ones you did You heading in the right path :)
I have lots of PSD's for Learning right so if you ever Want to see how i do Mine Let me know

and im once i post the warrior i will let you know XD

i never was much good at making sigs and what not XD all i can do is make silly stuff happen in them ; ;.

Thanks for this information. I'm going to attempt at making my own Sig now... this Sig is like 4 years old when i was only all mage. Now i want to change things up. Everyone's Sig on this thread is kinda cool.

That would be great :) I'm all for learning and advancing more when it comes to graphics. Right now all I've ever used is Photoshop and never really got along with any other programs. I've tried gimp and I could never get it to work right for me XD

I noticed you are on Valefor also, me too! lol Since can't PM here just hit me up over on the FFXIAH site :D

Some have asked me if I do comission work, its a quite new concept for me as I just draw for a hobby but seems I reached a point where I have skill that worth some moneyz, (Im actually a Software consultant and developer for a living)

Anyway, I like to make FF fanart and stuff when I have the chance but atm Im quite full for the next 2 months at least, maybe I should start a list on my current comissions so you guys can know when I am free to do more... as I said, this is quite new for me, I didnt considered myself a "pro" till some months ago (and I know I still have a LOT to learn, been getting some tips from a friend in my city that works for marvel, I so wanna be like him some day lol).

Photoshop is a great thing, but it's not free (legally). There are good free programs that give most of the functionality the average person needs out there.

My sig, as much as I love it, is out dated and only reflects my DRG job, I'd like to make a new one as well but really don't have much clue how lol. I'm playing with that "gimp image editor" right now but I'm having alot of problems getting it to do what I want >< lol

Someone had made a good sig of My Dancer but I have P.C and lost my Photoshop program from my old PC, also was never really good with PS making sigs and borders, was just good with painting my artwork

your sig is also too gigantic to be allowed on most forums. :p You could chop off that different looking part below your name and people would be none the wiser.

I'm suprised there's no significant limit on sig sizes, especially when we can't set our own avatars =\

so...I tried a bit using Windows Paint. Its not exactly what I want but doesn't look too bad does it? lol

You have inspired me to make a sig... I havent touched photoshop in like a year. Ill report back probably tomorrow when I complete it.

I used PhotoDraw for mine, unfortunately not free as far as i know but really simple to use.

I was pretty proud of my sig about 2 years ago when I finally learned how to use photoshop. But it's pretty bare bones compared to some of the ones I've seen. The one I put on here is the one i made rIght after I completed my dnc relic. I have a fourth that I plan to rebuild from the base up that shows all 4 of my currently capped jobs in their complete relic. I dont have the updated model viewers to do the AF3's yet. And I need to find some different programs to make background effects (photoshop elements 4.0 just won't do it).

I made my sig myself. Took a while. It's not much of a hobby of mine, though. I still prefer having others do it, but as they say...

"Want something done? Do it yourself!"

So, I did, and I like it.

Haha yeah I know :P My first stab at it, will probably try again tonight.

So i made a sig out of a game SS, best i can do, if anyone wants to take a stab of maing one for me well you got the motion at lest.

So I made a new sig for myself, first time I've made one, my previous one was done by a good friend =) used the gimp image editor that was suggested in this thread. It's not great compared to some other sigs, but for a first try I thought it was cool.

can never get these sig things to work /sigh
