Ninja nerfs are back too?

So ontop of everything else people are annoyed about, we are now getting ninja undocumented nerfs again?

Haven't tested it myself but from what I gather they been messing with things again to stop people getting some easier skillups with counter/retaliation.

I thought these kinds of ninja nerfs were a thing of the past.

Before someone asks, Ninja nerfs mean nerfs to the game that are kept secret, not nerfs to the ninja job. Stuff they change without telling anyone.

I think it's time for "Operation Rampage + Hundred Fists" and have the warriors and monks march on SE HQ and occupy it, held The Team T hostage and "raging fist" with "mighty strikes" their face till you get to knock some senses out of them.

We're still missing the revival of 21-24hr spawns and then the cycle will truly be complete.

They mentioned making some new Grand Dragons for the elements that are currently unrepresented by Grand Dragons, so I expect 48+ hour spawns to make their grand return any update now.

playing devils advocate...but the game is full of spaghetti code. Perhaps putting it in as a bug report first instead of crying ninja nerf would have been a more viable option.

We don't have any obligation to continue doing business with them. If they want us to continue, there's certain things that are in their best interest to do even if they aren't under an obligation to.

1) POIDH!
2) parse with hundreds of counter without a single weapon skill up, but skill ups on normal hit
3) retalation is not counter

Not to be rude but did you ever actually camp kings? I did for nearly 3 years and I can honestly say it would be a really sad day to see that bot ridden horrible content come back to this game. If they dropped good gear and were the tough fights then many hardcore endgamers would be forced to do it if they wanted to still play the game and being forced back into the worst (in terms of cheating making you the best) content this game has ever had would be another huge step back. Kings was the only content that changed oppinions of ffxi gamers in regards cheating, it made it stupid not to cheat and for an MMO like this that is totally retarded.

Please don't add more HNM of old, the sound of thousands of bots firing up and the cash registers of bot makers would be defening. Square are unable to counter bot creators, ever.

It's about respect I think, the Aby dev team never stooped to these kinds of things. The people we have now are the total opposite, logging in and stuff being changed that nobody said anything about is just crappy.

This current "old school" dev team is the total opposite of "communcation". They don't even know the meaning of the word.

was both test done on "same" sever (test or normal server , dont care about "world")
yes: can still get weapon skill up = that's not a nerf
No: parse with hundreds of counter without a single weapon skill up, but skill ups on normal hit on "OP's server" to prove that you can no longer get skill ups (getting evasion skill ups doesn't mean you cant get weapon skill ups too),

Not a NIN or MNK but All im hearing is whining! People want things to be way to easy. Have fun with the game take the challenge or go play WoW! You want easy then find another game. I enjoy the challenge every since 06. Today there is no challenge few atmas some +2 and go to town. Doesnt sound fun to me at all.

If you want hard then find another game, because FFXI was NEVER the most hardcore MMO in existence. It was and is once again becoming highly tedious, but even at its worst was just a highly toned down version of Everquest. Yes, that's right, FFXI is to EQ what WoW is to FFXI.

You think you're hardcore and awesome? You're not. I'm not here to poo on anyone's accomplishments, but keep it in perspective, people.

I do believe we've just encountered the rare and elusive hipster geek, notice how he's quick to point out how he did everything before it was 'popular'.

(Call me crazy, but I level whatever job I happen to enjoy leveling. Yeah I leveled MNK back during the days of Colibri burns, but you don't see me, or any of the other people who did the same bragging about it like it makes them cool. "I leveled MNK when SAM was bandwagon!" is not an epithet you should be proud of...)

Back to the point of the thread, I'm really disappointed seeing SE take such a massive, flying leap backwards in their flagship MMO.
