Here's a bone for you guys, did some testing as a Samurai. Konzen-Ittai produced Fragmentation. Opening SC with Tachi: Kasha, Apex Arrow closed with Light.

So RNG/SAM could do Apex -> Jishnu -> Jishnu for double light, that sounds fun.

Is the ws really worth using? I thought we could do jishnus back to back for light and relight and tp gain.

Jishnu's > Jishnu's produces final light and can't be continued further
Apex > Jishnu's produces ordinary light and can be further chained with relic/empy WS.

Yes apex arrow is worth using! Full merited it is a very strong weaponskill with the proper WS set. The fact that you can create an extended light chain with Jishnus is even better - Jish is a great weaponskill, but lets face it outside abyssea non crit weaponskills are, on the whole, better for consistent damage.

I've yet to see an impressive number from 5/5 Apex Arrow. Which part of "outside of abyssea" you see Apex is better than Jishnu's ?

I haven't merited apex arrow but was wondering if its numbers compare to Sidewinder? Don't have empy bow (went empy gun for COR main) but certainly I do pull out the old bow every now and then and wonder if Apex is an upgrade to Sidewinder at the very least. Certainly Last Stand is a better WS than Slug.

I am loving Last Stand - not only for the damage, but it's a fine looking WS too :D

Ok, so maybe you hae a point, but lets add that Jishnu's isn't particularly as impressive outside abyssea as Last Stand / Coronach are.

Without any buff, it's already impressive if you hit all 3 hits, without crit'ing any. With simply gear, I can say for sure you should be able to crit at least 1 from 3 hits.
Last Stand could be a superior alternative if you are using the highest damage bolt/bullet available. The reason why I haven't gotten a good number from Last Stand yet is more due to that reason. So I can't really give comparison yet; But it's still a strong contender to the highest WS damage RNG can pump.

If we're looking at Voidwatch, the -enmity from Coronach and the fact it's still well below Last Stand in term of WS damage, it actually doesn't give you much of advantage. Full-timing Gnostic's Drink gives me no hate problems in VWNM fights. I remember doing 2.7k Jishnu's 4x without holding back until the hate goes into me (and soon after PLD is able to grab the hate back). So for any VWNM fights where your group can restore temp regularly, I don't see much advantage offered from Coronach. As for less number of x-hit build, I can say I'm almost to the point of 2-hit build when using Harrier +2(WS -> 1 shot -> wait for couple secs -> WS)
