Seriously, they(And by they I mean one of the forum mods.) said in some thread somewhere that they would "normalize"(I.e. make them all drop at the same rate.) the drop rates of of armor in dynamis. What happened to that?
Did they add it and forget to add it to the update notes?

If I'm not mistaken, they did do an update for that awhile back and people did claim that the drop rate for AF2 dropped more often. However, due to the "new Dyna" the coins drop rate is MUCH lower by normal means but I do believe they updated AF2 drop rate awhile back.

Well they didn't do it right. Because as of a week ago, there's still the same high drop rates from some and nonexistant ones for others.

In the last 7 times my friend and I have duoed Xarc we have gotten RDM, THF, PLD, COR, WAR, MNK, PUP too me that seems fairly increased considering we're slackers :D
