I remember Square Enix talk about outside of abyssea VNM where going too be easy too solo but i don't see that @ all sometimes the VNM SPAMM 2hrs which makes it a harder fight sometimes some mobs can't be solo since some are in fact over power...
Also Wish the timer for VNM DEAD was reduce from 1hour too 30mins yes please.

Only issue with VNM I see is that they actually hit for 350+ a punch still. 15 more levels and it is worth zero for damage reduction.

Hmm, I am able to solo most VNM, as are alot of my friends. They all require a specific method usually though, so spawning them and just attacking like you would a T mob usually will not work. Which VNMs are you having trouble with? I might be able to give you a strategy for killing them.

Isn't it only during 2 hour that it takes melee damage? Sounds like a very slow solo method to run during it. Though all methods are faster than dying methods.

Feuerunke takes melee dmg no matter what, but it loses resistance during hundred fists. Capricornus spams recoil drive during it's 2hr. I never really tried kiting capricornus during mighty strikes though. I'll have to try that if I accidentally spawn it again. Thanks for the info.

I used DNC MNK WHM RNG(75) on it successfully, RNG didn't really do anything and subbed /SCH for extra Poisona. DNC is great if you want to attempt a duo because it can cure it's own poison and has fast attacks in the case of hate reset.Quote:
