I think i know who wrote the blog . Some d-bag who made my life hell because i took his "get stuff done" slave (my boyfriend) away from him. Very same composition to the crap he wrote of me on our LS forums. He also played a female elvaan.

Dude pretended to be a girl and even went as far as setting up a alter-ego so people could think he really was a girl. sick and twisted mofo.

anyway, tbh hair 6b (the red hair) is actually the most popular, then 6a. The reason is 6a is also the arch angels hair style. And is the only har that is unisexed. Mithra are almost the best dd class because of the high dex and low charisma. The only downfall is they are only female.

Anyway i think who ever wrote the blog needs to rethink life (and satire) Girl gamers already have a issue. Stuff like the blog are pretty lame. I play mithra and I'm a pretty good player. I do not use the cat girl appeal to get free stuff. Infact I hate gettinbg stuff for free.

The blog has a point, that happens a lot.

It's not 100% though, there are a lot of female mithras that play the game just to play. Although there are also a lot that play the game just to talk to random people, which I find somewhat annoying in a way. Maybe it's because I don't enjoy not-doing anything when I'm playing.

Also: I wish there were man-mithra, because I hate playing female characters on any game (WTF FFXIII Y U HAVE SUCKY PROTAGONIST?!) and just want DEX without sacrificing STR merits :<

I chose mithra cause I like playing as an animal/anthropomorphic race (awaits inc flame of "omg ur a furry go die in a fire!")"....if no mithra I would have picked a female hume *shrug*

The "Neko-chan" crap annoys me to no end, I think I loose braincells each time I see a mithra speak all anime catgirl like stuff like "Hai! ^________^ i'm super dupa kawaii neko nya!=^.^= i'm sooooo kawaii that i should get free things desu nya!" ugh even more annoying when its that white haired mithra 6A KIWF!

I chose F2B my old friend teased me saying she sounded like a female link (I guess she kind of dose...)

I also play a Galka, I only had one random person get their panties in a bunch over it "OMG GURLS SHOULD NOT PLAY GUY CHARS ITS WRONG!" "...but lots of guys play mithra..." "THATS DIFFRENT & WHY R U A GALKA?!" I ignored everything after that.

#4 ugh. I deal with that it pisses me off they keep like all the guys distracted from w/e it is we are doing (meh Dynamis) rather then try to proc the mobs they go fap over the 2 F6a lessie mithra publicly making out in the ls, I have no problem with gay/lesbian mind you but when its being publicly flaunted for attention? no thanks.

And the person you describe is very common. Hell I know 5 or 6 people like that and they aren't all mithras.

So no, I'm fairly sure Gokku knows that there are females on the internet. Most people do. It's simply never a good idea to take someone's personal information at face value over the internet, because anyone could really be anyone. It is simply safer to assume that everyone online should be treated as if they were a fellow male. If anything, most females I know appreciate this because it means they aren't getting stupid amounts of unwanted attention or being hit on by 14 year olds with an IQ lower than potato. Anonymity is the ultimate equalizer of the sexes.

i swear your like the Gandhi of forums i mean seriously. This is a rule in my ls , unless i have spoken to you and i know your a girl then i do not care your a guy. why? because guy or girl i expect the same level of play skill and i refuse to give you special treatment for any reason.

Well, uh, I chose galka for basically the same reason. I wanted to avoid the most humanlike characters, and Tarutaru was not an option to me- cute just does not ride well with me.

The blog really does have a point. Of course not all female players are bad, just a good handful of them.

I see nothing wrong with men playing female characters and women playing male characters. Both of my ex girlfriends had made male tarus. It's a game, have fun. :)

that is good because I don't like being given special treatment when it comes down to playing the game, I want people to want to actually play with me based on my ability to play, not cause I'm a girl

A while back, them models were actually included in the official census, and while it does not differentiate between hair-colours, it does show how much each models were used.

And if not, well, I could not care less, and I don't know why anyone else should care at all. ^^;


I made my Adventuring Fellow look like that 'dominating' model, with white hair and all but I actually thought it was going to be a different model... Didn't bother starting over.

Moreover, I don't think about people's gender around the internet at all, nor do I care if they are a male pretending to be a female, or a hippo pretending to be a giraffe. I just treat people equally, and as I would like to be treated myself.

only problem I have is when I say I'm a girl, for people to just acknowledge. I just don't like people calling me "sir" or "he" so just switch it to "ma'am" and "she" and don't treat it any different and we're fine.

I want every guy out there to think I'm a guy unless they've at least spent a good enough time with me on vent or know me irl.

Why?

Because I've seen too many players date a "girl" only to get their heart broken when they find out it's a dude.

It's much safer that way for everyone, and I couldn't care less of what sex you think I am.

It's true, except that's kinda not what happened with us, which is probably why it works. I'm always a hypocrite I know, but I often try to tell people not to date on the internet. I just got lucky, 99% of the time it doesn't work, and people don't go about it right. Even in a topic like this people still QQ saying Galka have no genitals, I don't know how many freaking years ago it was but its said the manual was mistranslated & the creator said Galka are MALE in EVERY aspect.
