Sounds like a good idea!
Don't really see the point.
While you could argue that nation subforums would be useful to find people to do the missions with, the server subforum would probably be a better place for that.
So.... in short "Can I please have segregation in FFXI? I only like to define and associate with people that are of my nation or race, because we don't like them Galkas and Taru Taru kind around here. They try to steal all our jobs and women!"
My retort:
No, and for what ungodly reason would you want segregated forums? To what end would that prove? If you want help with missiones either
A. Post in the forums under Missions sending out a server wide shout for help
B. Get an LS
I mean perhaps I'm being harsh and I don't understand fully what your asking for, but from what I can interpret... this is about as pointless as the guy that asked for multiple mounts within the game for travel..... when most people warp around and rarely even use the chocobo anymore...
Aren't you a dude.
Why aren't you 90 yet.
It would hardly be much work on the forum to add nation, and race specific forums. Also the discussions would be interesting imo. Provided of course that everyone recognizes that Elvaans are the master race XD
You know who else like separate race and nation forums? Nazis.
Godwins law?
don't see the point. What conversations could we have that would only be appropriate to specific races or nations? even the servers only barely rate their own forum sections.
It's obviously a role-playing thing, if people hadn't figured that out yet. That said, there's probably just not enough interest in the RP side of FFXI for them to add 32 new sections to the forums.
They had Race sub-forums on Alla. I think they get posted in once every two or three years.
Race forums are a bad idea.
People begged for Server Forums, and they are barely used.
