wasted item sold to npc

a lot of stuff gets sold to any npc by players to get rid of them when if they are sold to guilds or certain merchants actually restock there inventory. I have an idea how about a npc in the major cities that buys all item at a premium then the stuff is distrubuted to local merchants to be resold this would allow you to sell hq stuff to npc and make local merchants add it to there inventory. merchants could then sell newer types of armor, weapons, potions, medicines or ingredients for crafting its just a though. also if people sell rare/ex, rare or unique gear to the city distributor they get a finder bonus fee in gil its will go under research and then become available to buy. i have not though the thing over completely but im shure other have ideahs on how to perfect this im all ears about it
