can the DEVs PLEASE change the type of lights granted when killing a mob with an Empyrean/Relic/Mythic weaponskill with an Empyrean/Relic/Mythic equiped.
Some Background info
exp PTs that i got to, well most of them, they complain about ruby light. so far my current tally is that i have been kicked from 97/115 abyssea parties because of me getting ruby lights from empyrean weapon skills.
people /tell me to use a different weapon skill or leave the party. now i worked to get the empyrean weapon to use the weaponskill and be granted the aftermath. this is starting to become really annoying to the point that i just cant get a stable exp party because most the time i am only there for 30-45 mins before getting kicked.
just this weak i joined an abyssea exp on SAM with masamune 85 and as i got there and before even engaging a mob i was told to stop ruby'ing, this was said because the leader noticed that i had masamune equipt. and every ruby light that was attained was then blame was going on me.
How to impliment
If a player defeats a mob with a relic/mythic/empyrean weaponskill then players will have a chance of being granted either silver, golden or ebon at random. This will only happen for players wielding the following weapons:-
Relic Weapons: Spharai/Mandau/Excalibur/Ragnarok/Guttler/Bravura/Apocalypse/Gungnir/Kikoku/Mjollnir/Claustrum/Annihilator/Yoichinoyumi
Empyrean Weapons: Verethragna/Twashtar/Almace/Caladbolg/Farsha/Ukonvasara/Redemption/Rhongomiant/Kannagi/Masamune/Gambanteinn/Hvergelmir/Gandiva/Armageddon
Mythic Weapons: Conqueror/Glanzfaust/Yagrush/Laevateinn/Murgleis/Vajra/Burtgang/Liberator/Aymur/Carnwenhan/Gastraphetes/Kogarasumaru/Nagi/Ryunohige/Nirvana/Tizona/Death Penalty/Kenkonken/Terpsichore/Tupsimati
With the exception of the weaponskills that are performed bay a player wielding a wepon listed above are elemental weponskills then they would remain granting amber light.
this way players that have spent time to obtaie the above wepons can add something different to an exp party inside abyssea.
is this a reaonable request? anyone got some thoughts to this?

I think the systems fine as it is Ruby lights help exp partys even linkshells since ebon lets you get better rewards and silver+gold increase cruor and exp substantially, Azure is easy to cap, amber is easy to cap if needed, Pearl is where the only problem is, It's not guarateed and as far as I can tell theres no mobs that give enhanced pearl.
Suggestion to the op save up 300% tp weaponskill and let your aftermath whiddle the mobs hp down, If your weaponskilling each time you get 100% tp when a partys just started your only hurting yourself and your party unless ofcourse your lights are capped then go all out destroying stuff with your weapon. -

xp pt's that complain about ruby are probably scrubby groups who need every TE chest possible cuz they kill so damn slow. -

That being said, All NMs give 100% lights. Including Pearl. Best way to farm pearl is have someone whos not suck run around and kill the Teir 1 VNM a few times and pearl it. They also give Enhanced Pearl. So do all Ephemerals, They just dont give Pearl at 100% Rate. but VNMs do, so try that.
As a further note, While dealing with stupid people who cry about ruby lights because their gimp failure of a party could barely kill 1 mob every 5 minutes is quite annoying, I don't think it requires SE's attention to change all of the above. What i think it requires is /partycmd leave.
Maybe its just me, but I really don't feel a few exp is worth dealing with Stupid people. If i make an exp alliance, anyone complains about ruby, I explain to them Ruby is the main source of Silver and Gold lights, Which raise our exp far beyond its normal cap, and to not worry about it.

It wouldn't be a giant problem, But this just in, Gimp-F**k Groups complain about Ebon too because "IT GIVES A LITTLE RUBY BRO". yah Pick up groups are morons.

Happens to me A LOT on Asura. Not that I go to exp with my WAR or MNK anymore anyway, but people don't understand how lights work even now.
You can't expect them to know, well not all of them. Most people in said parties are getting their first or second job to cap, irrelevant of the medium they are using to get there.
Even saying that there's still the morons that have 5+ 90's and won't let you ruby kills.
On the other hand, at this stage of Abyssea who the hell is low on stones?
