A return to former glory

I am glad to see the flexibility of being able to augment your sky gear and bring it back to its former glory. However the most sacred piece of gear to me is slowly fading away in usefulness. I have played for 7 years and had adventures in nearly all of the events the game has to offer, it is still my proudest treasure. It is not even close to the rarest treasure I own but yet it is the fondest.

It is my Tamas ring. Today's world bring so many options that Tamas has a hard time competing with many of the others out there for career Black Mages. With rings like Strendu Ring, Galdr Ring, Sorcerer's Ring there just isn't enough fingers left for a Tamas ring. Sure the Tamas ring has things these rings don't but I think with the level increase the Tamas ring should evolve into something greater. Here are a few personal thoughts.

A new player to the game might look at the COP rings and think it is not worth the work. They may be right with all the crazy gear available from all the new content.

I think most players would love to see quests or upgrade paths to pick 1-2 of many possible augments like the mini-expansions. I think everyone would be crazy to enhance their COP rings, Whitegate rings, ark-angel earrings, Apocalypse Nigh earrings, Limbus Ancient Beast Coins accessories, and others.

I have never owned a Sattva ring or a Raja ring but maybe those whom have would like to chime in on the idea of Haste or Damage Reduction.

Would love to see one of my personally proudest achievements return to its former... oh wait, I'm actually still using my Rajas. Store TP +5 is hard to beat still. I definitely agree though, would love to see these upgrade in some way, even if it's only to take the "obvious" approach of adding another 2 base stats to the rings (and HP/MP on Sattva/Tamas respectively). Since we're allowed to dream... Haste and Double Attack on Rajas. A combination of Blitz/Epona's Ring, while maintaining Store TP and Subtle Blow.

I would like to at least see the CoP reward rings get their stats scaled up to meet the new level cap. Some method to upgrade other reward accessories would be excellent as well. For instance, no matter what I try, that stubborn "Assault:" tag just won't come off my Ulthulam's Ring! Surely the dev team knows what to do...

I disagree the ring should stay as it is, any changes would hurt goldsmithing rings
