Organized Deluxe Animator Hunt Begins!

It's come to my attention that as of two weeks into the update, we have still yet to find what might be one of the most fundamental and job revolutionizing items since Burattinaois. In hopes that all puppetmasters in some way or form can unite for this one moment in time, I propose that we create a organized group to find this item.

Please keep in mind that things labeled under 'Speculation' do not have feasible information to back it up.

Background Information:
DPS: 3 Deluxe animator EX/Rare
All Races
An improved version of the animator.
Transmits commands at a faster rate
than the standard model.
Lv. 87 PUP
■Allows the use of Maneuvers when using an Automaton.

Speculation on stats of the Deluxe Animator (Keep in mind none of this information is backed by facts):
■ As of currently many Puppetmasters are coming to the conclusion that it might allow for 4 manuevers.
■ The Animator happens to have DPS: 3 (This may be an error in data conversions). This may mean that it is throwable in which an additional effect may be given, in result of a successful landing, like provoke (Off your pet) ~ Puppetmaster does have high throwing skill.
■ The Animator may possibly give "Regain" and other enhancements for the pet. This is a laudable idea because since Burattinaois has been nurfed to 1%, this could of been a done in order to create room for another Regain item. (Regain on the animator would be alot nicer than on a weapon, granted the neccessity of Regain being on our automatons could only be met through the use of Burattinaois, making other items such as Kenkonkens and Verethragna, which allows the 'Master' to do more damage in result, no longer could be used easily.)

As of currently... there are a couple of places in which the Deluxe Animator may come from...
■ Dungeon Treasure Caskets (Medium Likelyhood)
■Dynamis (Low likelyhood)
■ Voidwatch (High likelyhood)
(It would be a good idea for everyone to try to search in these three locations)
Other things such as New quests and ENM 60 can be ruled out... I've checked them for the most part.
KCNM is also ruled out because only Rare and Sellable items seem to come from there, whereas EX/RARE items such as Deluxe Animator can only be found in places like Dynamis, Voidwatch, and Dugeon Treasure Caskets.

Also it's known that Field Necklace also has to drop from one of the unknown zones... but a good thing to keep in mind is that the higher the Grounds of Valor Page mobs are, like in Toraimorai Canal where the skelotens are reaching lvl 99, the higher lvl'd the 'Special item is' and we're looking for something around lvl 87 (The level of the animator).
***Mild Likelyhood: Treasure Caskets have a mild likelyhood because the possibilty of a item of such stature dropping from something that can easily be duo'd or trio'd is low... Square Enix has never be that benevolent...

As of currently there's little information pretaining to Voidwatch... but a reason in which VoidWatch has a strong possibility (High likelyhood) is because the Gun:

Drops from VoidWatch... It happens to be somewhat job specific, Ex/Rare, and LV. 90 which meets the criteria for the most part to allow us to assume that Deluxe Animator could come from something Riminecent.

*** Looks like to me all the new weapons ranging from 87-88 come from something riminencent to KCNM, so this may mean KCNM is back on... on the other hand... a handful of these items are only Rare... incomparison to Deluxe Animator being EX/RARE, but the trend still gives evidence that all they items may drop from a similar location... I would focus on checking out where that WAR Great Axe drops from since it's also EX/RARE Like Deluxe Animator though...

Drops inside Dynamis Xaracabard (Speculation)... If a item of that is LV. 90 and Rare/EX drops from dynamis now, that could mean items such as the Deluxe Animator could potentially drop from Dynamis also. Although this may be the case, new items being added to Dynamis without warning would seem a little bit abstract. If you look at the high level page for each area and compare it to the level of the item that drops there, there is a trend:

I guess another possability:
Voidwatch, buy with crour, unlocks after you have t4 stone from all 3 cities. Would be worth checking the voidwatch officers after getting max stone rank in all 3 to see if anything is new/unlocked

Is the having all 3 cities' T4 Abyssite Stone something you heard about as of recently or is it something you're thinking is a possibility? I've been trying to investigate this whole Voidwatch thing and i'm noticing that even trying to get a tier 2 is taking awhile (Around 5 stones for a rank up), so if getting 3 Tier 4s is actually a possibility... we could be in for a long run to getting the Animator lol. Alot of this is still obscure though so we'll see what people figure out in due time.

Just a wild guess. And it doesnt take any of your own personal stones to get max rank and its fairly quick too.

To get from rank 1->2 you need to kill 2 nm (present and past) of the t1 are, aka for sandy, you need to do sandy present and sandy past , voula.

Rank 2->3 just kill the single nm
rank 3->4 kill the two nm (one in past one in present)


You dont even need to use a void stone, just someone in the alliance has to pop it.

It came as an idea when i was thinking about how animator +1 was a buyable reward from an event system instead of an actual drop, i was just wondering how you would implement it with voidwatcher and that was one of the ideas that came to me.

Gotcha... It seems with Voidwatchers, your stone is only expended for the entire group if you repeat the same VWNM twice in a row in the same area or x amount of times... But that was our problem when we first started doing it because we thought that we would gain a rank up gradually by the more times we killed the mob and we didn't know you had to kill the tier 1 in both the past and present. However, I do agree with you. I do believe that the animator will be purchasable in some way via cruor once we hit a certain level in Voidwatchers, or it might be possible that you get it off either a tier 4 or the final Voidwatchers... It feels like to me that something so strong would more than likely drop in something like void watchers rather than a Dungeon treasure casket.
I'll keep looking into though and post something as soon as I can if I figure something out.

Too bad. Looks like something I will never get. I haven't done anything in an alliance in forever, and there is not enough players around me to really do anything like this.

Here we seemed to be moving away from the whole "alliance" thing. Looks like They throwing us back into it. I was hoping it was something we could work at, on our own. I liked that is what things were heading, or at least work at in small group. Take a bit of time but still within reach.
I hate when SE puts things out of reach for casual players like we aren't as important has hardcore players.
