In one of the treads about adding a Wanted Feature to the auction house the moderator said he had contacted the development team and that the feature would be hard to impliment.

Be this as it may, it made me start thinking. There are a lot of players in FFXI. Many are adept at programing and graphics design. How about holding a monthly contest where players can actually send you New monster designs, weapon designs, new skins, new sound effects etc.

There are a lot of people out there who would be willing to give up some time and use a little or a lot of their expertise in order to enhance the game for themselves and others.

It would be nice to be able to contribute and also allow the dev team some time to do more important things like improving the game by adjusting and implimenting new content. We arnt expecting you to allow us to submit our own game code to add our own events. But a little thing like this might go a long way.
