Can't Access Einherjar Glowing Lamp Bug

I'm doing the Imperil Heist Quest and when I trade glowing lamp to the door it wont let me in. I know of the 3 minute window and that I have to do Rossweisse Gate first. It will not let me enter when I trade it.

It says "Unable to enter due to the Entry Gate saying "You do not process the items required for entry. Lamp loses its timer, becoming <unknown : --- -- ----. --:--:-->. "

I've talked to Naja Salaheem to conform this is the last part of the quest.
I've also confirmed that I have other titles towards the quest.

Are you trying to do this the old way or the new way?

I assume you're trying to obtain the Elite Einherjar title. I'm unsure if this matters but did you make sure you don't already have the title(s) needed for the quest?

Also, Odin requires one feather from each wing. You only mention one of the chambers. Your terminology seems to differ a bit from the actual game terms, so it's not completely clear. but as far as I can tell, if you only did Rossweisse's chamber, then you do not in fact have all the items required for entry.

It's been a while since I entered einherjar, but as far as I know, it's the three feathers that it's checking for here, so make sure you have a feather from all three wings. Doesn't have to be all nine, just one from each wing.

Yes im trying to get the Elite Einherjar title, but prior to that, I cant entire the Rossweisse's chamber in the first place.

Im aware of the three feathers and the process to open Odin's chamber. I also made sure I have obtained the titles as well.
There is a Taru in White Gate that tells you them.

The problem falls under not being able to enter the first chamber to even start the process. Even though I've traded the glowing lamp in a timely manner.

I'm fairly certain you're skipping over something here. I don't recall it having been required but see if you can enter and clear all the other chambers (even if you already did them) that should be available to you and see if it then lets you.

This content has been in the game for many years so it's pretty unlikely it's a bug. It has happened, but 99% of the time when someone says "i cant complete" this, it's a skipped step or NPC they didn't talk to or thing they didn't click on, etc. FFXI is a very cryptic game and it's easy to miss/overlook things. Which is why retracing steps often leads to a resolution.

What you've got here sounds like what would happen if you were holding (and tried to use) a lamp from a previous reservation.

To be clear, did you originally have a Smoldering Lamp item, which you traded to the door? That's the item you use to reserve a chamber, and it's exchanged for a Glowing Lamp when your reservation is set. A Glowing Lamp that you carry into Hazhalm Testing Grounds with you is going to be useless.

Ah yes! that's got to be it. I totally forgot about how the lamps work.

It's possible you traded a used lamp even though you got a new one, and just traded the wrong one? Lamps only lose their timer after entry. If you try to enter and it says you can't, that could be the case.

Also, you have to enter within a specific time window if I recall correctly, and if you don't enter before that timer expires the lamp becomes no good as well.
