Cloud of Darkness Screenshot Campaign - January 2025 (NA / EU)
Bright Lighting... contrasting darkness... Gather your screenshots... And spread the word about this campaign! Take up your desired arms and venture forth towards the Cloud of Darkness, but be certain to ready your screenshot abilities as well!
To participate, take a screenshot with Cloud of Darkness from either Rhapsodies of Vana’diel or the new Battlefield ★The Orb's Radiance and we'll award qualifying participants with a special reward of their choice!

Theme
Submit a screenshot of your character with Cloud of Darkness from one of the following contents:

Awards
The first 250 qualifying submitters from X, and the first 250 qualifying submitters from the Official Forum will each receive their choice of one of the following in-game items, to be delivered to one character under their account:
* Your item of choice can be delivered to other characters under the same account.
* Please make sure your delivery box isn’t full. We will not resend the award if your delivery box is full at the time of delivery.
* If submitting through the Official Forum the award will be delivered to the character on the submitter’s forum handle. You can update your forum handle from the Settings > Edit Character option under the My Settings menu.
* If submitting through X the award will be delivered to the character whose name and world that is listed in the post
* Item delivery is scheduled for early March 2025.
How to Obtain an Award
Official Forum Submissions:- Submit a screenshot that meets the campaign’s theme. The screenshot must depict a very clear image of either your character, an NPC, a place, or a thing.
- You may practice submitting and formatting your post in the discussion/practice thread.
- Once you are ready, please submit your screenshot in the submission thread.
X Submissions:- Log in to your X account (if necessary, first create a X account for free at X.com)
- Follow the official English Final Fantasy XI X account (@FFXI_EN) from your X account.
- During the Entry Period reply to the Promotion post (which is posted in or around the Entry Period), posted by @FFXI_EN, from your X account that includes the following:
- Attach a screenshot that meets the campaign’s theme. The screenshot must depict a very clear image of either your character, an NPC, a place, or a thing.
- Character Name
- Character World
- Prize
- Hashtags: #FFXI #CloudofDarknessCampaign
- Caption (optional)

You must abide by the following rules and guidelines when making your submission:- One (1) submission per account. If multiple submissions are posted, only the first submission will be accepted.
- You must have a Square Enix Account.
- You may not submit the same screenshot you used in previous campaigns. Any submissions that merely repurpose the same screenshot from another campaign will be disqualified at Square Enix’s sole discretion.
- If a screenshot contains the names of other players, please ask those players for permission before submitting the screenshot. If you are unable to obtain permission from the other player(s), you must hide their name(s) before submitting the screenshot.
- You may use image editing software to crop, alter, enhance, or add more features to your screenshot as long as the resulting image clearly shows that it is FINAL FANTASY XI-related.
- Square Enix reserves the right to disqualify, remove, or take down any content at its sole discretion.
