chocobo traits

I wish i could remove chocobo traits even after they are out of the stable, and add new traits while they are out as well. i have bore on both of my chocobos and i keep digging up a zillion crystals which ruined making these 2 chocobos that took 2 to 3 months to make. i just wanted to remove it but i crafted all these lethe potage and it just removed the treasure finder, and didnt remove the bore, even after tryign 22x to get rid of it and making the chocobo sick. is there anyway we can remove these traits easier without all the crap. I just want to remove the two bores, add treasure finder back and maybe gallop or something on both instead so i didnt waste 2-3 months of my life. i really dont feel like making 2 more chocobos because of this one simple mistake.
