is it possible to make the targetting better like when you change targets in old dyn

I was wondering if it is possible to make the targetting mobs easier when u change targets in old dynamis. half the time people are running outside 3rd party programs and its lagging me out in there and i keep targetting the slimes first and then u get charmed and die. I was wondering if you could make it easier to target off the mobs and without targetting your npc trusts and mobs 300 miles away on top of bridges. like it should be more like final fantasy 14's targetting.
