NM spawn questions from a returning player

I aplogize if this has been asked somewhere before but I couldn't find a consitent answer. I haven't played in 15 or so years and obviously a lot has changed. I recently came back and have really been enjoying my time on Bahamut. I read that some NM monster spawns had been changed, especially the "classic" NMs. I was unable to find any sort of list as to which ones were change and to what time period. Are all the classic ones still on 12-24 or are they all changed to 2hr windows? Could someone direct me to an up to date resource on their spawn times? I can camp and get ToD and all that on my own as needed but knowing the window would help determine if a NM was worth it or not. Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

There's no comprehensive list. You just have to know or know where to look.

Some changed. Some moved. Some are still the same. Too many to list.

Pick one, go to bg to check, repeat.

Just ignore Uroah, he's on his like fifth account here from being banned due to spamming. While there have indeed been a lot of changes, this mainly applies to HNMs, particularly Behemoth/KB, Fafnir/Nidhogg, and Adamantoise/Aspidochelone, which are now force pop NMs that are still fought at their original locations.

Some other NMs were changed, but a lot of the less sought after / well known ones remain unaltered. Also HNMs from later expansions have not been changed to force pop, though I think a few have had their locations adjusted. Best way to check is to just go on one of the wikis, ffxiclopedia or bgwiki, and look up the NM in question.

Thank you for the response. That makes sense. :) I'll check the wiki and hope for the best. I know some of the gear isn't worth it but maybe I'll try and camp something for nostalgia's sake.

King Behemoth is one of the OG HNMs and people still want Defending Rings. so it's not all irrelevant. :)

Of course he's trivial to kill these days but the drop rate is as bad as it was back then.

one of LS I'm in has been generous enough doing shanks for Behemoth & I think nearly everyone (including me, though I already got it like a year or two) already got their defending rings. Though as you pointed out, this ring are one of example that's no longer viable wear depending on situations since it lacks other supporting stats needed, but at least still a good ring for casual stuff.
