Steps:
1. Summon Amigo Sabotender wearing only ilvel 119 weapon and Ankusa Gloves +3
2. Use the command /checkparam <pet> to check defense and evasion
3. Equip Gleti's Boots, and Nukumi Earring +2
4. Use the command /checkparam <pet> again to compare defense and evasion

The defense and evasion were unchanged, meaning the level did not change.
This behavior is different when repeating the same steps with a pet at ilvl's
