Could not attack leech in Zeruhn Mines

Was exping in Zeruhn Mines and killing Veindigger Leech and 3 of them linked and started to attack me, I used my 2hr to survive the attack and manage to get down to the last one and then this error message popped up and I could not attack it, despite it still attacking me.

Unable to target the Veindigger Leech. You have not received the level cap status.

4. chat log says Unable to target the Veindigger Leech. You have not received the level cap status. when trying to attack.
