Steps:
I got the side-sword, killed Serpopard Ishtar 3 times went to the moogle to turn it in and nothing. Looked at the sword and the magian trial was not registered on the sword. Talked to the moogle again thinking I missed getting the trial and I was already registered for it. Got the Moogle Spectacles and went back to Tarhongi Canyon and I was 1 of 3. Found Serpopard Ishtar and killed it with just the side-sword equipped, still 1 of 3.

Edit: Moved to Leviathan tried again at 1812 EST on 2-23-2022 (H-8) Still did not update afte killing NM with just side-sword equipped
