• Records of Eminence has undergone the following additions and adjustments.

• The monthly objectives have been swapped out.
• New objectives are unlocked once certain conditions have been met.

• In the process for refuging item level 119 relic equipment +3, players who have at least one job for which they meet the conditions to upgrade the head, hand, leg, and foot gear will be able to examine the enigmatic footprints in the following areas to receive the corresponding job shard key item.

  Southern San d’Oria (K-10) / Bastok Mines (I-9) / Windurst Walls (H-7) / Ru’Lude Gardens (F-9)
  * Examining the enigmatic footprints once will grant you shards for all jobs for which you meet the conditions.

• The locations of the ??? at which maps can be received for the following areas are now fixed rather than variable.

  Promyvion - Holla (M-8) / Promyvion - Dem (J-9) / Promyvion - Mean (H-4) / Promyvion - Vahzl (D-8)

• Ambuscade has undergone the following additions and adjustments.
  • The foes in Normal and Intense Ambuscades have been swapped out.
    * As such, the corresponding Records of Eminence objectives have changed.

  • Certain items obtainable in exchange for hallmarks have been swapped out.
  • Certain items obtainable for total hallmarks have been swapped out.
  • Certain items obtainable in exchange for badges of gallantry have been swapped out.

• The maximum vengeance level of Odyssey’s Sheol: Gaol has been increased to +20.

  • Players will be able to attempt vengeance levels 16 through 20 for any monsters they have vanquished in Atonement 1 at vengeance +15.
  • For Atonements 2 and later, the vengeance level that can be selected depends on defeating the monster at vengeance +15 as well as the results of the previous level’s atonement battle.

• The maximum augment level for equipment purchasable after vanquishing a monster in Sheol: Gaol has been increased to rank 25.

  * Players must defeat a monster at vengeance +20 in order to augment a piece of equipment to rank 25.

• Certain monsters added to Alzadaal Undersea Ruins (G-8) in the November 2021 version update have been removed.

• The amount of various points earned by alliances of 7-11 players by vanquishing certain monsters has been returned to the pre-December 2021 version update values.

  * The change was initially made as an anti-RMT measure, but we are reverting it due to the major impact that it had on the majority of the player base. We will continue to monitor the situation and take further measures as necessary.

• New items have been added.

• A new synergy recipe has been added.

• The following items may now be stacked to 99, up from 12.

• A new key item category has been added for job-specific equipment.

• Compensation is available in apologies for the issue where a temporary item obtainable for escha silt would be lost in the November 2021 version update. Players will be able to receive one primeval brew for a limited time only.

  Players must speak with the relevant NPC after meetings the following conditions to claim their compensation. This process can only be done once.

  • Conditions

    • Be in possession of the scintillating rhapsody key item by the start of maintenance for the January 2022 version update.
    • 45 days or more have passed since character creation as of the time the item is received.
    • Are not already in possession of a primeval brew.
      * Players who already have a primeval brew must use or otherwise dispose of their current primeval brew to claim their compensation.

  • Applicable NPCs

    Shiftrix in Reisenjima (f-12) / Affi in Escha – Zi’Tah (f-10) / Dremi in Escha – Ru’Aun (H-11)

  • Compensation Period

    Until the start of maintenance for the February 2022 version update.

• The issue with certain quest battles accompanying the quest Dance of the Tengu in which NPC healing magic effects would occasionally not activate or display in the log.

• The issue in the quest Treasures of Aht Urhgan wherein players would be unable to progress or cancel the quest in cases where they possessed a mythic weapon of the same name after obtaining a Serpentking Zahak relief shard or if they accidentally threw away their mythic weapon.

  Players affected by the above issue can resolve it by the following steps.

  • If you possessed a mythic weapon of the same name

    The quest can be cancelled by trading a non-reforged mythic weapon to Abquhbah.

  • If you accidentally discarded a non-reforged mythic weapon

    The quest can be cancelled by trading a different vigil weapon to Abquhbah.

• The issue in Abyssea wherein players were able to maintain visitant status in excess of the number of traverser stones they possessed.

• The issue with Intense Ambuscades wherein some of the Bozzetto Incanter’s action logic was incorrect.

• The issue wherein leaving battlefields would occasionally cause some pets to despawn.

• The issue with master levels wherein a PC with master level status was partied with a player below level 99 and the level sync was set to the master level player’s level, alter egos would occasionally fail to perform actions on the PC below level 99.

• The issue with the flashward earring wherein the MP+10 attribute was not described on the item help text.
  * This is a help text issue only. The functionality of the item remains the same.

• The issue wherein certain graphics for the Qiqirn sack’s icon were incorrect.

• The issue with the Iron Giant mounts wherein movement sound effects would not properly play under certain conditions.
