Primeval Brew bugged while fighting WoC

Steps:

We prepped for WoC, BRD songs, COR rolls etc, after i spawned the NM i popped my buffs and used a Primeval Brew.
The brew seemed to have bugged causing me to far less damage than usual.
After the brew wore off my damage went up but by then most of the buffs were off and it wasn't enough to kill the NM resulting in a wipe.
Unsure if it was a single time event my friend offered to use his KI and brew and soawned the NM. Resulting in the same bug and another wipe. losing both our KI and our brews with nothing to show for it.
