I was playing ambuscade and the game shut down. when i try to log back in on that character it shuts down again. The other characters are logging in/playing fine.

First, bug reports must use the template provided in the sticky thread and include all information or they get rejected as "insufficient information." Make sure you use the template.
Second, this is virtually always a temporary issue and eventually you'll be able to log in again without doing anything. Sometimes it can take a while though.
