i was thinking creating a cap to the amount of Gil a new player could obtain, say for a month or 2 upon character creation they could only be able to carry up to 1 million Gil, for legitamate players this shouldnt be an issue but RMT wont be able to carry billions around on their mules.
You can easily reach the last level in a matter of a week, 1 Millions gils is enough thoses days to buy... some foods ? Now that everything cost more than a million, locking a new player into a 1-2 month with 1 million gils will make his game to be locked for this time.
A new player pay his sub to play, not to wait, it is a bad idea.
If they make it almost impossible to farm gil then the RMT will start hacking players to sell their gil instead, the more you crackdown on them the more vicious they will become.
