I was just hoping you could stalk the development team and ask them if they play any FFXI and as which jobs. I'd like to think they play the same game they work on, though I have no clue if they are not allowed to or something.
Just some info for us stalk... I mean fans.

I do not think they test much. I do not think they understand thier magic damage formulas. That is the only thing I can think of for the reason making the caster weapons they do ( PW/ZMN staff, and caster damage having no relic/ mythic status weapon)

I think developers who work on smn should have to play one from level 1. The catch is have to do it like the players did. No party in the early levels unless they are main healer, fov followed by campaign (no Abyssea until they are level 75 with Odin). Add in Staff trials in Abyssea unable to farm time or anything other than pearl.
