alot of players seem to have interesting ideas about bst and dual wield.
Frankly I'm not that big of a dual wield fan, even though I'm almost always on /nin or /dnc for dual wield.
I would be happier if we had more pet shields so that dual Wield didn't seem mandatory.
Pet-wise there is just not competing w/ the buffs from 2 different axes. Also dps is better dual wield than bst can do w/out it. Fencer, though a cool trait, can't measure up.
How about a trait that...
Restores all ready charges (or just 1~2 if balance is an issue) whenever the master performs a WS while single wielding.
This way, you make both single wield and melee BST more attractive. If BST has high haste and is using WS frequently, then no offhand axe (not even Charmer's Merlin) would be able to compete with basically unlimited ready charges. Having shields with useful stats would just be an added bonus at that point. The only pet move I can think of that may need adjusting is rabbit's Wild Carrot.
