1. Yes; but check your Moghancement effect. Once you get one there, it overrides the other from furnishings. Megamoglification will negate Moghancement: Synthesis, etc... whichever one shows in key effects in your menu will be active.

Megamoglification: 'craft', 'Craft'-torque equipped, 'craft' apron/hands/head (which ever pieces that craft has), one of the shields equipped (either the annoyingly time consuming end shield, or the +2 shield, or Kupo Shield for +3), the more Advanced NPC Guild support that is paid in gil=(skill lvl/10)x300, coconut rusk for food, and if fast enough to get there, being in an Adoulin area with Ionis on with Crafter's aid in effect. (Can check this by talking to NPC and asking about active coalition effects active at this time. Think that's all.
4. Yes, only the ones equipped on you give any effects of +1's, the others are just inventory slot fillers when not equipped.
