Melon Slicer issue

Playonline states the Melon Slicer is a great sword but in game from the moogle it's listed as a Great Katana. Which is it? I was expecting a Great Sword like Playonline states.

As it unlocks a Great Katana weaponskill, it's most likely a mistake on POL. :3
