Race and Name Change - GoFundMe?

Hi guys,


I am considering opening a GoFundMe page for FFXI race and name change. The money would be sent over to SE to show them how many FFXI players would be interested in making race and name changes.

Anyone with any expertise on running GoFundMe's, drop me a /tell and we can work on it together.

Of course, if there is interest. And I know a lot of players are lurkers (like me) and don't post, so a lack of hands showing interest in race changes is not reflective of the actual population's desire for that option.

The devs just stated in a recent broadcast (the Famitsu 16th Anniversary Celebration) that they will not accept any form of crowdfunding...

There is probably a mile long list of legalities that would surround crowd funding too.
