question about the shields

wondered if this is the last of the shield quests? or is there more to come?

They stated in the last FP that there will be more stages. Bare minimum probable of one more, likely to be at least two from the way they worded it. When they explained how the craft speed -60 works (its -60 animation frames) they said they plan to increase it further and additional stats would be added.

Is there a way to cancel your current shield quest? Im on the last stage and dont want to complete it right away. I also don't want to deal with the -synthesis until I really plan on finishing it up.
