Can't mount Red Crab from event

Steps:
Did the crab event and got 500 grind. Turned it into Mapitoto in Upper Jeuno to register it. Zoned to Batallia Downs to test it out. Upon selecting Red Crab in my mounts list through the in-game menu (Abilities > Mount > Red Crab), "...A command error occurred." appears in my chat log and no mount is summoned. The Raptor mount still works for me.
