Missing Lightsworm

Was trying to catch up on the RoV missions and got to Ganged Up On. I was unable to get a CS at the maw in Batillia or any of the other ones except to raise white feather. Clicked on ??? and was told nothing was there. So thought that the lights worm was gotten at the end of the WotG missions so finished those up thru Forbidden Reunion and still no worm. Never got choice to teleport to WoE so ran there via Grauberg. No CS at ornate door except to repeat Breath of Dawn which I have done already. I did note in researching for answers that others have had this problem but there has bee no solution posted. We even tried changing nations to see if we could redo Back to the Beginning where the lightsworm is given to you by Cait Sith in a cut scene at a maw. That didn't work either. so is there anyway to proced without the worm or to get the worm again? I would like to continue Rhapsody
