Steps:

1. In 'Quests' under 'Records of Eminence' I selected Subjugation: Genbu, Subjugation: Suzaku and Subjugation: Seiryu as objectives (and even now they still appear under 'Current'.

2. I spawned and then defeated Genbu, Suzaku and Seiryu.

3. Records of Eminence did not update and complete those objectives.

They are repeatable, did the yellow circle disappear? Once that is gone you will know it is completed.

Ah that explains it, my bad.
