I want to join the test server is there still any way

Is the test server even used any more and I want to know how can i join it seeing as i just started playing on the pc or well trying i still play on 360 thought.

The test server has been closed for a while, sorry.

The test server has been inactive since some time in 2012 or 2013. Version updates got too rapid at the end of 2013 to justify having the test server, because content was going into the real game faster than testing would help.

which was unfortunate because there's been things on the test server that never made their way to the live version. (and now likely never will)

Most notably, a very early version of the new UI that would never see the light of day, and Banish IV and Banishga III for WHM (And now even Light Spirit has Banish IV even though WHM never got it)

I have not messed with it but there is something in the pc config about a new ui.

That's a placeholder for when they announced the new UI, and you had to enable it in the config to use it on the test server. It currently has no functionality.
