Suggestions for the new chat windows.

Greetings SE and everyone at forum:

The new chat window feature is pretty neat, will help to keep the info spam a little more sorted out.

However, one window over another can be, at least in my humble opinion, not the best option.

Could we just shrink the windows width to it's minimum and then have an option so we can have those windows aside each other? I think is a better that way.

Will be nice to hear other's opinions.

This is already in the works, they will release it with the new UI that's slated to be released some time before Seekers of Adoulin, the newly announced expansion pack for FFXI.

I wouldnt hold my breath on that new ui, my humble guess is that the new UI was scrapped and they are implementing pieces of it as they see fit now.

While this would be limited to the Windows version of the game only, we'll look into adding this kind of feature in the future. :)

That's good :)

But I've been dying for the mouse friendly UI since the day it was announced. I really wish you guys would consider investing more time in completing that. The more UI elements you end up changing and adding to the original one, the harder it will get to get it done. Please, please tell me it hasn't been totally scrapped!

I was very obviously making a joke that it was supposed to have been out a long time ago, lol.
