Not that I disagree, but this has been requested nothing short of a million times and they're pretty adamant (and have responded to it a few times) on a solid "no."
With all the changes happening with the NVO (New Vana'diel Order) There's hope. They seem to be doing a lot of things in the right direction. The idea that it has been requested a million times, is all the more reason to make it happen. With the number of players dwindling daily. Fix what you can to keep what you've got. I've been playing now since shortly after the NA release. I've got several 99 jobs. It's aggravating having to dump merits to do one job then do them all over again to go back. Especially when they've upped merits everywhere else
It is not game breaking to give us all the merit WSes, it is just too fulfilling, too satisfying. They'd love to see you spend time merits and switching between the WSes.
