Relic Weapon - Additional Effects and Aftermaths

I want to start this topic off by first confirming the Additional Effect section of my post.

Additional Effects
First off, I understand that Excalibur was fixed in which to allow the usage of Enlight while still being able to proc it's additional effect on targets. Does anybody know if this applies to the other relics as well? Such as Mandau's poison effect or Apocalypse's blindness?

If this fix hasn't been applied to the other Relics yet, I would very much love to see it done... No reason a DRK should toss aside the benefits of it's 100-150mil~ weapon in exchange for constantly having to recast Endark. Which also brings me to another topic while it really doesn't involve items, but the degrading effects of Enlight and Endark seem potentially inaccurate...

In many cases I find myself having to recast the spells about halfway or so through their duration because the damage output fell too far below efficient. Aside this, let me get back on topic here...

If anybody can confirm for me please that this fix went out to all of the Relics (IE: Please test using Enchantment spells from RDM, DRK, or PLD), I would greatly appreciate it. Otherwise, I'd very much like to see this adjustment take place....

Now on the other hand of the additional effects.... Mandau poison potency is just terrible for taking the time out of your day(s)/schedule to make, that being said... Guttler choke effect should get some attention too.

Let's not keep the weak, outdated 2007 effects and let's scale them up to par with today. I understand that there was mention of no more attention being directed to the REMs, but this is something that was clearly overlooked.

Aftermaths
While I'm not too knowledgeable in most of the other Relic Aftermaths, I do believe that Excaliburs Regen effect should be scaled up a bit by now... Either in duration or in potency. The current Aftermath potencies and durations are outdated.

Like I mentioned above, these are outdated potencies/durations to both the additional effects and Aftermaths. I would love to see a bit more attention to these and see them put back up to par as they should have been.

In any case, 10/tic Regen from Knights of Round Aftermath isn't much in my eyes, granted it DOES stack with Regen spell. However, these are changes that I personally would like to see considered.

Request of verification
As mentioned previously, can anybody verify if Enchantment spells via RDM or DRK CAN be used and the additional effects of Mandau poison, Guttler choke, and Apocalypse blindness can still go off?

Yep, I hate the Regen effect, in all honesty it's so pointless I don't even care about it at this point. I don't use Knights of Round because not only is it generally weaker than CDC but the 10 Regen is so small and pointless it's not worth the time to apply, even on RDM you're looking at a max of 22~23 Regen from this and the spell which is just so insignificant I can't be bothered. The fact they never increased it after the level 75 version is just... I don't know why they didn't adjust for the higher HP amounts, now we're sitting here with nearly 2k and we're getting back a whole .5% of our HP a tick... In either case the Aftermath at this point should be more like 25~50 HP a tick, Regen today is so high on spells by compare to what they were at the time that it's not really unfair, especially when you compare it to the fact they used to have KoR as one of the best WSs and by today's standards it's fallen out of it's previous dominance.

Just my take on it as an Excalibur owner though. My opinion is as bias as possible.

That's just the thing too, with the weapon skill adjustments coming. I'm hoping to see KoR rise back up there, specially with the 40% damage bonus, etc. already. So while they're at it/fiddling with the weapon skills in general figure it wouldn't be too much more to ask for them to vamp up all of the Relics Aftermaths and additional effects.

I agree. Though I wonder how they'll balance Relic WSs now that I think about it. Will they balance it based on the idea of a level 75 Relic, making the WS more powerful than all others at 75 and resulting in Relic WSs being the best once you factor in the Relic bonus? Or will they balance it for the Relic bonus to be counted in, resulting in the WS itself being quite weak as it is now while doing the trials but becoming one of the best once used with the 119 Excalibur?

Hopefully it's adjusted without counting the Relic weapon skill damage bonus. Even if it's only slightly better than Requiescat or Chant du Cygne. I mean, atleast it's not in Atonements current state, lol. They didn't even bother scaling Atonement with the level caps like it should have been. Now technically speaking....Atonement is now 44 levels behind the times. 750 damage is like the damage of Fast Blade just about on fodder mobs.

Weaker even. In any case however, I don't think....rather I hope that they do not adjust it with the damage boosts...

If they don't though then you're talking about Relic WSs being the best. You can balance all WSs to be great in certain situations but chances are if you're going to make a weapon skill only able to be used with 1 weapon, and that weapon boosts it by 40%, you're going to end up with it outclassing every other option by far.

The additional effects all supercede other on hit effects. Guttler's Choke overwrites sambas going off. I honestly wish it wouldn't, since a 7 hp/tick choke is worth less than the 12 hp I would have recovered.

Yeah, figured the additional effects already take place over Dancer Sambas, but will Choke take prority over say Ifrit's Area of Effect Enfire buff or Red Mage En-swordenchantments? Just need to confirm that the fix applied to more Relics than just Excalibur. Enlight used to take priority over the Excalibur additional effect, so was curious if they fixed it for all Relics too.
