JP Midnight - Abolish this, please.

I know for certain things like Dynamis, it prevents the market being flooded of currency etc. But for missions and AF quests, it is the most frustrating thing.

Back when the content was released, I understand that SE wanted to delay progression to keep people around. When that content becomes old, and just a speedbump towards current content, the delay is just a giant frustration.

Example: Corsair AF. You level incredibly fast in today's FFXI. You will get to 60 from 50 in only a few hours, if that. (Not including abyssea parties). However, with a few exceptions, each piece of AF requires waiting until Japanese midnight. This makes something that should take a few hours at most take almost a week. The same goes for TOAU missions.

I know I'm not the only one who wouldn't be upset if this restriction was removed.

So it's been going for quite a while now. They were pretty fast with the waits on the certain quests due to the trust I have no faith in. I wonder if they will finally do something about Aht Urhgan due to Nashmeira, too!

I would really like to see the wait on all AF be removed. No more JP midnight wait for BLU AF yes please!

I support the speedy implementation of the removal of these unnecessary roadblocks. Even replace them with Vana day if you're worried about the NPC saying it's tomorrow breaking our immersion. IDC about that personally but if its those references which are holding the team back, that would be much preferred.

Oh and it could be worse!

I was recently reminded of this personally, when I got my items for the Ebisu fishing rod mere 3 hours or so after day-change... on a Sunday. Yeah, so I had to wait the whole week for the thing! >:|

It's not like that thing is there to prevent congestion on battlefields even. It just is, because: ???.

Fun times (not!).

I'm surprised they haven't adjusted the AF waits yet. Upgrading relic armor used to be like 3 days (or a week) didn't it? Now its next game day which works just fine IMO.
