Going from trial to full

I can't find anywhere to buy just bare-bones FFXI online or through the Playonline online store. Do I have to purchase the $30.00 Seeker of Adoulin? If I do that's fine I'm just wondering what I have to do. Also, does my account sit idle upon my trial period ending? I won't have the funds to purchase the game until after my expiration so I'm just wondering if I'll have to do it all over again.

I feel this would fit into the General Discussion forum better, as it isn't exactly a technical issue. ^^;

Anyblue, while it may be possible to find the software without some of the expansions, it may not be exactly profitable. That is, one is likely best off just buying the most latest one, with all the bells and whistles, as the prices are what they are.

Unfortunately, I don't think a 'FFXI for a penny' package exists, which I maybe guess you're after.

Your account should indeed just 'sit idle' once your trial period has come to its end. You may or may not need to re-install the game (if you used the Adōulin edition of the trial, I have a feeling you might not, but I can't say I've tried).

I believe you'll definitely need to 'transfer to regular service' in your SqEX account management though.

I thought this would help you,here is the ffxi store page for the seekers pack.I also can tell you if you call se and ask for the store number they will give you it then contact them and ask them to put you on a list they will so when they get more in stock they will contact you.also before you ask i know they have all ready requested more stock of it i asked my self.

if that fails you can check amazon or ebay.But Never buy this used unless you have the game all ready and just need new disks if you need codes you need to buy new.
